35 Years of Running and Running Shoes Preference

With a 35 year running history, bunions, and no joint pain issues, attributable most of this success to my choice in running shoes.
My choice may not be your best choice. Uniquely designed with my wide feet, well aligned joint structure and thin. However, hold a strong belief some shoe brands are engineered better than others for the purpose of running.
The single most important aspect in making a shoe purchase choice and decision is ease of bend-ability in the mid-tarsal joint region (bunion area), recommend you do the same irrespective of whether you have bunion-less feet. Also prefer the lighter weight running shoe, albeit they wear out sooner.
You may notice per my choice in running shoes the tendency toward waffle sole preferrence ~ my joints appreciate that bit of extra give per step!
